A middle age husband names withheld of Sangere FUTY in Girei Local Government Area, Adamawa state has on Thursday asked Civil Area Court I to dissolve their marriage over threat to his life.
The petitioner and tricycle operator alleged that the actions of his wife have been threatening his life and that he cannot wait until she kills him before saving his life.
According to him, the nagging attitude of his life partner couple with her threat to his life will cause him paralysis or accident on the road, saying he neither have peace outside nor in his house due to her attitude.
However, he prayed the Honourable Court to end their union in order to save his life, adding that he is fade up and that he cannot continue to live with her under one roof any longer.
He further explained that when the court earlier issued summons to her, she tore and dumped it in their dustbin, and said let her see who will come and arrest her.
But the presiding judge, Hon. Al- Amin Diya who was furious about the actions of the wife and her failure to appear before the court, ordered for her arrest.
