TWO MEN IN COURT FOR BUYING STOLEN NSCDC, VIGILANTE UNIFORMS


Two middle age men, Abba Bashir and Sale Bala have appeared before Upper Area Court III in Yola, the Adamawa state capital in connection with the supply of stolen property.

The defendants are standing trial for criminal conspiracy and receiving of stolen property from Danbaba Abdullahi, Ibrahim Adamu, Jamal Umar now at large.

Danbaba Abdullahi and 2 others were reported have broken into the house of Hauwa'u Suleiman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and carted away units of NSCDC and Vigilante uniforms, 1 bedsheet, 1 empty handbag and 2 pairs of shoes.

According to the prosecution, Danbaba Abdullahi and 2 others conspired and robbed the officer and business woman of her belonging on 8th January, 2020 and disposed it to Abba Bashir, 1st defendant.

After cross examination of the prosecution witness, the court presided by Hon. Umar Isa, adjourned the matter to 10 March, 2020 for continuation of hearing.
