JUST IN: POLICE ARREST 5 NOTORIOUS CULTISTS IN ADSU MUBI, RECOVER ARMS
Adamawa State Police Command has arrested about 5 suspected notorious cultists terrorising students of the State University Mubi.
According to the command, the suspected cultists specialised in cultism, initiating innocent students, attacking and inflicting various degrees of injuries on innocent students.
The suspects include; Okene Ebuka Louis, 26, and John Alana, 25, belong to Neo Black Group while Usah Bitrus, 21, Nehemiah Mathew, 25, and Beneath Mathew, 22 belong to Black Arrows Group .
Likewise, the command recovered dangerous weapons including 2 pistols, Cutlasses, Knives, Rings and Charms from the criminals.
A statement signed by the Spokesman of the Command DSP, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Tuesday, said that the suspects were apprehended on the 10th February, 2020 at the university.
The Command advised the public particularly parents and School authorities to keep monitoring the activities of their children/ students and report to police any suspicious movement for immediate and necessary action.
