Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) In Charge of Zone 3, Haliru Abubakar Gwanda is billed to hold talks with the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, Adamawa State Command Tuesday.
The AIG is In Charge of Zone 3, Yola which comprises Adamawa, Taraba and Gombe states respectively.
AIG Abubakar Gwanda is expected to familiarise himself with the command, talk tough on the general conduct of the officers and men of the command towards their official responsibilities and the prevailing security challenges.
Speaking to NEWS PLATFORM on the visit, the Spokesman of the police command in the state, DSP Suleiman Nguroje said that the AIG will be at the command to familiarise himself with them.
DSP Nguroje disclosed that the AIG will equally assess the performance of the command in combating crime in the state, and how best to encourage them towards putting more efforts to fighting crime in the society and interact with the leadership of the community police.
During the visit, according to him, the AIG will interact with their men so as to get himself acquainted with their operational challenges with a view to addressing them.
