Adamawa State Police Command under its Commissioner, A. A. Alhaji, has arreated no fewer than 1, 184 suspects for various offences in the last 9 months.
Out of the suspects, 464 suspects were convicted, while 720 are currently awaiting trial for various offences ranging from kidnapping, rape, armed robbery among others.
The command also recovered 20 AK 47 riffles, 3 G3 riffles, 2 pump actions, 7 single barrel guns, 11 locally fabricated guns, 115 cartridges, 600 rounds of live ammunition, 8 stolen motor vehicles, 11 motorcycles among others.
The CP, A.A.Alhaji, made this known on Monday, while parading suspects apprehended for various offernces at the police headquarters in Yola.
