115 Jostle for 25 Adamawa House Assembly Seats



No fewer than 115 Aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are expected to slug it out during the forthcoming primary election to conducted the party. News Platform 

The Screening Committee constituted by the party, recently screened and cleared 115 aspirants to contest for seats at the hallowed chamber.

Several incumbent members of the assembly who also declared their interest to seek re-election for the 2nd and 3rd time have made up of the list of the cleared contenders.

The party reiterated its commitment to conducting free, fair and credible primary election in order to produce candidates that will contest and win election for the party.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
