ADHA Speaker Picks APC Form to Contest for 3rd Term



Ahead of the 2027 General elections, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has formally obtained his expression of interest and  nomination form to contest for member for the third term under the platform of the All Progressive Congress ,APC. 


Supporters of the Speaker from all the six wards of Hong constituency led by the Executive Chairman of Hong Local Government Hon Usman Inuwa Wa'aganda in a grand style moved to the state Secretariat of the Party to pick the form on his behalf. 


Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley who received the delegation at his resident, thanked them for their continued support and promised not to disappoint them. 


He called on his supporters to remain calm and continue to go with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the leader of the party in the State. 


In their separate remarks, the Executive Chairman of Hong LGC, Hon. Usman Inuwa Wa'aganda and Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring, James Augustine described Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley as a leader that has impacted in the lives of his constituents and he will continue to do more.

Breaking: Court Sends Gambo Nakura to Prison for Insulting Ribadu, Alisha Buhari, Others

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
