2027: Demsa Lawmaker Receives Support...Declares 3rd Term Bid




Demsa Local Government Area in Adamawa State on Saturday, stood still as the Member representing the Constituency at the House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno, declared her interest to seek re-election.

Hon. Kate Mamuno and the Majority Leader of the assembly stormed the headquarters of the LGA where she declared her interest to contest for election so as to continue in representing her electorate.

The only female legislator received a heroic welcome from the LGA and ward exco of the All Progressives Congress(APC) party faithful, stakeholders, supporters and well wishers.

The officials of the party and supporters assured her of their total support towards ensuring her victory during primary and general elections saying that they will vote for her considering her wealth of experience, dedication and positive contributions at the floor of the assembly and in the area of empowerment.

They equally promised to mobilise support for her ahead of the scheduled primary election of the party, saying that no doubt, she will clinch the ticket.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Kate Mamuno thanked them for their continued support and appealed to them not to relent in rallying round her for better representation.

She disclosed that she is contesting with a renewed promise to continue the good work, reaffirmed her commitment to empowering the women and youth of Demsa for a brighter tomorrow.

She commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his giant strides and leadership of the party and all her supporters across Demsa LGA.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
