Senator Adamawa North Consoles Family of Late Hannah Eli Pawa


The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Amos K. Yohanna, has consoled the family of the late Mama Annah Eli Pawa.

Mama Annah Eli Pawa of Yelwa in Mubi North Local Government Area passed onto glory at the age of 91 on the 19th May, 2026

In his condolence message on Wednesday, Senator Amos, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of Eli Pawa and prayed God to comfort them over the irreparable loss.

"Mama, as I fondly called her, was not just a neighbour to us at Yelwa in Mubi North, but a mother figure whose kindness, warmth, and care touched everyone around her. 

"We were privileged to grow under her care and guidance, and her presence will always remain a cherished part of our memories", said Senator Amos.

He stated that the life of the deceased was a reflection of love, compassion, and selflessness, and her absence will surely be deeply felt by all who knew her.

He prayed God Almighty to grant the family the strength to bear this painful loss, and "may her gentle soul rest in perfect peace".

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
