Mammoth Crowd as APC Guber Aspirant Comr Salihu Storms Yola, Unveils Campaign Office

Mammoth crowd thronged Yola, Adamawa State on Tuesday, when Comrade Salihu Mustapha, All Progressives Congress (APC), Governorship Aspirant declared his interest to contest for the office of the governor during 2027 general election.

Comrade Salihu officially declared interest to contest election while addressing mammoth of supporters and cream of stakeholders at his campaign office in Yola, where he used the opportunity and unveiled his campaign office.

Addressing the gathering, Comrade Salihu, said he decided to formally answer the call of the electorate and to present himself to them, as well as unveil his campaign office and seek for their support to enable him win election.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the leader of the APC, whom he referred as the architect of modern Adamawa and the destiny child of the state.

He acknowledged the privilege and honour of being recognized within the party and the opportunity to contest election as somebody who is from the humble background and promised to consolidate on Fintiri's achievements.

He extended his thanks to the National Security Adviser, Mall Nuhu Ribadu, President Bola Tinubu and also promised not to disappoint them and Adamawa state electorate.

He described NSA as his political mentor since 2013, emphasizing his role in building his political career and pledged his loyalty to Governor Fintiri, NSA and President 

He appreciated members of the Adamawa House of Assembly, the elite and academic forum of Adamawa state, representatives of Emirs and Chiefs LGC Chairmen, supporters among others.

In his remarks, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, said that they have witnessed a mammoth crowd which they could not see in recent time.

Rt. Hon. Bathiya assured that the electorate are going to vote for Comrade Salihu for how had demostrated quality leadership when he was the APC Vice Chairman Northest Zone.

He called on all their supporters to come out and vote for Comr Salihu during primary and general elections respectively and assured him of their loyalty and support.

Also speaking, former Senator Adamawa North Senatorial District, Binta Masi Garba, appreciated them for the support, and prayed God to grant them succeess.

Also speaking, the Director Campaign Organisation, Captain Yusuf Buba, thanked President Bola Tinubu and National Security Adviser for their commitment and also thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the good work he has been doing in the state.

He equally thanked their supporters and well wishers for the warmed reception accorded to them and assured them that the Aspirant will emerge victorious during primary and general election.
