Just In: ADHA Confirms 7 Dev Area Administrators



Adamawa State House of Assembly has just confirmed 7 State Development Area Administrators appointed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. News Platform 


The Development Area Administrators confirmed by the assembly include Idris Usman, Mayo Ine, Gumniba Billaba, Guyuk West, Prince Ginka Pondiwe, Guyuk South, Christopher Maxwell, Guyuk Central.


Others include Desmond Minakaro, Gyawana, Mohammed Musa Gengle, Gengle and Gambo Sarki, Yola Central.


The confirmation followed the consideration of a letter sent to the assembly by Governor Fintiri dated 4th May, 2026, where requested the hallowed chamber to confirm them.


The motion for confirmation was moved by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Ahmed Jingi Belel (Maiha) and seconded by Hon. Japhet Hammanjabu (Verre) respectively.


After the confirmation, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley who presided over the sitting, directed the clerk to the assembly to communicate the assembly's resolution to the executive arm.

Breaking: Court Sends Gambo Nakura to Prison for Insulting Ribadu, Alisha Buhari, Others

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
