FINTIRI PLEDGES READINESS TO PARTNER GOVT, NGOS FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH



Adamawa state Government has pledged its readiness to partner any governments non governmental organisations that will contribute to the socio economic growth as well as promote the security of lives and property of the citizens.

Deputy Governor of the state chief Crowther Seth, made the pledge whil receiving a delegation led by Irish Ambassador to Nigeria on behalf of the state Government in his office.

He told the Irish Ambassador and his team that Adamawa is now peaceful as state Government has put every machinery in place to bring an end to the issues of kidnapping and farmer herder clashes.

He thanked the Irish Ambassador and the United Nations' Team for the visit aimed at ascertaining the security situation in the state, reiterating the present administration's committment to partner investors that may wish to invest in the state.

The Irish Ambassador to Nigeria Bob Peterson had earlier told the Deputy Governor that he was on the tour of North Estern states including Borno, Adamawa and Yobe to assess the security situation and the economic status of the insurgency affected states for his country's intervention.

Ambassador Peterson told the Deputy Governor that he has since visited some Local Government's Areas in the state, promised to hold a round table meeting with chamber of Commerce and industry in the state.

He maintained that such meeting will give him avenue on where investors can come to the state and commended the state Government for restoration of peace in the state.

Chief of staff Government House professor Maxwell Gidado SAN appriciated the contribution of UN and other organisations to the state said state Government is alway ready to will come investors into the state.
