Adamawa State Deputy Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and one of the contenders for chairmanship, Mubi North Local Government Council (LGC), Mr. Timothy Audu, has said he is hopeful of winning the forthcoming election for Mubi North LGC.
Mr. Timothy Audu, stated this shortly after he submitted his nomination form at the PDP state Secretariat yesterday.
According to him, he is well prepared to face any other aspirant, and at the same time hopeful of emerging victorious during the election, saying that this will enable him provide good governance to his people at the grassroot.
He said it is a great opportunity for someone to vie for an election in order to meet the yearnings and aspirations of his people, saying he is happy that he was able to return his form as required by the law.
Mr. Timothy Audu, disclosed that it was his people that called him to come contest for the seat if not, he would not have opted out to go and vie for the seat, explaining that the office of the Depety Chairman is more than that of LGC Chairman, but since it was a clarion call, he has no alternative than to accept and serve them.
