VISITATION PANELS RECOMMEND FOR SUBSTANTIVE VC FOR ADSU, ADMINISTRATOR FOR SPY



Visitation Panels constituted by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, and Adamawa State Polytechnic (SPY), Yola respectively have recommended for a substantive Vice Chancellor for the university and Sole Administrator for the state Polytechnic.

Already, Governor Fintiri, had while receiving the reports of the panels today, assured the panels for immediate implementation of their reports in the interest of the state.

A 29 years old forest guard identified as Sunday Markus, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing a 25 years old Isa Hamadu to death. ADHA Receives Leader Leneke's Name for Confirmation as Commissioner

Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa LGA, for screening and confirmation as Commissioner. News Platform  Leader Leneke's name was sent to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to assembly and read at the plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley. After presenting the letter at the hallowed chamber, Rt. Hon. Bathiya, directed the Clerk to invite the nominee to appear before the assembly on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 along side his curriculum vitae for screening.
