FINTIRI SEEKS ADHA'S APPROVAL TO APPOINT CHAIR, MEMBERS OF ASSEMBLY SERVICE COMMISSION


The Adamawa state House of Assembly has just referred the letter forwarded to it by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, to its Joint Committees on Public Service and House Services for scrutiny.

Governor Fintiri is seeking for house's approval to appoint Chairman and Members of House of Assembly Service Commission.

Those nominated for for the appointment include; Hon. Abdullahi Abubakar Wambai, Chairman and Bello Pur, Videyeno Bamayi, Zainab, and Mohammed Shehu as members of the commission.

The letter which was read at today's resumed plenary session by the Speaker, Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, was referred to the joint committees for scrutiny.

It could be recalled that the house yesterday terminated the appointment of Chairmen and members of the House of Assembly Service Commission and that of Civil Service Commission as requested by the Governor.

Earlier, the Governor had intimated the house that due process was not followed in the appointment of the affected persons and however pleaded with the hallowed chamber to terminate their appointments.
