As the Muslim faithful all over the world celebrate this year's Eid-el- Kabir, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, has urged on Muslim ummah to reflect on the lessons and virtues of sacrifice, patience, tolerance and humility for peaceful coexistence in the society.
However, the Speaker felicitated with the Muslim faithful in the state as they join the rest of the world to celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
In his sallah message, Rt. Hon. Iya Abbas, called on them to enhance their spiritual being through total submission to the will of Allah, as exemplified by prophets Ibrahim and Ismail respectively.
He appealed to them to use the period and promote peace and unity in the society, urging them to pray fervently for the growth and development of the state.
While congratulating them, the Speaker wished them happy and peaceful sallah celebration.
