Sen. Amos Yohanna Graces Michika Chiefdom Anniversary, Hails Unity, Culture
Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Amos K. Yohanna, has attended the one year anniversary celebration of Michika Chiefdom as well as turning ceremony of title holders.
The Senator attended the anniversary celebration as well as turbaning ceremony of several distinguished sons and daughters of the Chiefdom held in Michika LGA.
He said "I had the honour of gracing the colourful anniversary celebration of the Michika Chiefdom, a moment that brought together sons and daughters of the kingdom in a remarkable display of unity, culture, and pride.
"The highlight of the occasion was the installation of distinguished indigenes into various traditional titles by the Gbeke Ka Michika Prof. Luka Gadiga".
He explained that watching prominent sons and daughters of their land being honoured was deeply inspiring, saying that it reflects not just personal achievement, but a collective appreciation of service, sacrifice, and commitment to community development.
"For me, being part of such a historic gathering reinforces my belief in the importance of preserving our heritage and celebrating those who continue to make our people proud. Our traditions remain a strong pillar of identity, and occasions like this serve as a bridge between our past and the future we are building together.
He pledged to continue toI remain committed to supporting every effort that promotes unity, honours excellence, and strengthens the cultural fabric of our dear people.
