Adamawa CP Deploys Personnel at JAMB CBT Centres
The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Kabir Umar Hassan, has ordered the immediate deployment of adequate operational assets/manpower at approved centres for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT).
This is contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to newsmen in Yola, Adamawa State.
The deployment follows the directive of the Inspector General of Police to ensure a safe, secured, and conducive environment for candidates, examiners, and other stakeholders throughout the examination period.
He said, "The deployed operatives have been directed to remain professional, courteous, and firm in preventing examination malpractice, disorderly conduct, and any security breaches. They are also urged to collaborate with other security agencies to effectively secure the centres, their surroundings, and access routes".
The Command urged candidates, parents, guardians, and the public to cooperate with security personnel and comply with all the guidelines for the smooth exercise.
