Stakeholders Meet Tangwami, Describe him as Dependable, Grassroots Politician



Forums of Chairmen of Boards, Commissions and Agencies, Special Advisers to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as well as the Forums of Principal and Senior Special Assistants on Monday, met with the Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Felix Tangwami. 


Other organisations who had an interactive sessions with Chief Tangwami, include widows and their representatives from Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde Local Government Areas, party executives and supporters from Modire Ward in Girei LGA, Fulani community leaders and Ardos led by Sarki Alhaji Yakubu Musa, alongside youth and support groups including the Pene Da Bwatiye Youth Wing, Yola Branch, and loyalists of Chief Fwa.


The Governorship Hopeful had series of strategic engagements with the political appointees and key stakeholder groups in Yola, Adamawa state ahead of the APC primaries.


Speaking on behalf of the groups, Barr. Musa Kaibo said the engagement had renewed hope on the success of Chief Tangwami, and offered prayers for the actualisation of governorship ambition.


On his part, Engr. Alvari Gunduri, described Chief Tangwami as a credible leader with a track record and pledged the support of the Forum of Special Advisers towards his governorship bid.


Other representatives, including Barr. Leader Leneke and Mr. Bristone Limuga Daniel, who also assured him of their support, aligning their commitment with the continuity of progress in the state.


Speakers across the various groups described Chief Tangwami as a dependable and grassroots-oriented leader with integrity and a clear sense of purpose.


Speaking while meeting with the groups separately, Chief Tangwami, said that the meetings created opportunity for him to formally declare his intention to contest the governorship under the APC platform and to seek their backing.


Garkuwan Mbula, applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, led administration for the remarkable achievements recorded in critical sectors in the state.


He informed them that his ambition is focused on consolidating and advancing the progress already made by the "Fresh Air Governor" and sought for their support ahead of the election.


Chief Tangwami said that he possesses the qualities required of good leader to pilot the affairs of the state considering his wealth of experience as seasoned politician.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
