2027: Namdas Inaugurates Coordinators, Says No Room for Consensus, Imposition of Guber Candidate

Adamawa State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abdulrazak Sa'ad Namdas PhD, on Friday, inaugurated zonal and LG Coordinators.

Hon. Namdas, had while inaugurating the Coordinators, assured that nobody is going to impose any candidate on the electorate, and that there will be no room for consensus in the state.

Those inaugurated include Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, Youth Coordinators, Women and Assistant Women Mobilisers.

Addressing them, Hon. Namdas, told the gathering that there is no shortcut to Dougirei government house and that every aspirant must present himself to the electorate to enable them decide who to lead them.

He assured them that he is not in the race for consensus, and that he is ready to present himself to the electorate across the 226 political wards which he had opportunity touring it about 2 times. 

He stated that he has confidence in the leader of the party in the state, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as well as the national leader, saying that the Governor had promised to preside over the primary election.

Hon. Namdas, explained that he is not being sponsored by anybody and that he has the capacity, mental ability and the knowledge to lead the state, adding that he stated his move to occupy government house about 15 years ago, and he is well prepared to perform like Governor Fintiri.

He appreciated them for honouring his invitation, saying it is a clear demonstration that they are committed towards the actualisation of his governorship ambition, and urged them not to entertain any fear about imposition and consensus.

In his welcome address, the Chairman Steering Committee, Hon. Abdulrahman Shuaibu, appealed to those inaugurated to hit the ground running for success because according to him, time is not on their side.

Hon. Abdulrahman described Hon. Namdas as an exceptional leader, trustworthy, and a grassroot politician who has wealth of experience to bring about the development in Adamawa.

He tasked them to be committed to towards the success of their aspirant and urged women and youths to follow other women and youths house to house and mobilise them for the election.

According to him, Hon. Namdas has a lot to show as part of development he had brought to Adamawa State, and appealed to them work together for the success of the party.

Responding on behalf of Coordinators Central Zone, Alh. Barkinda Hammanjoda, thanked him for finding them worthy for the appointment, saying he was confident of winning election.

Alh. Barkinda, challenged other Coordinators to strive hard by mobilising people in order to win election, saying that they have no iota of doubt that Namdas will emerge victorious.

Responding on behalf of Coordinators Northern Zone, Amina Usman Bazza, assured that Northern Zone is for Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas.
