Guber Poll: Sen Iya Abbas Visits Elder Statesman, Seeks Fatherly Blessing




In a strategic move to solidify his standing ahead of the upcoming governorship primaries, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas paid a high-profile consultative visit to the renowned elder statesman, Sadiq Kalu (Walin Ganye), at his Abuja residence.


​The visit, described as a blend of political strategy and traditional respect, was aimed at briefing the elder statesman on the Senator’s gubernatorial ambitions and seeking his spiritual and fatherly guidance.


​Senator Abbas, who currently represents Adamawa Central, emphasized that his journey toward the Government House cannot be complete without consulting stakeholders. 


​Receiving the Senator and his entourage, Sadiq Kalu expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that Abbas has shown remarkable growth and commitment to public service during his time in the National Assembly.


Walin Ganye offered prayers for the Senator’s success, advising him to remain focused on people-oriented policies and to maintain the peace and unity of the state regardless of the political heat.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
