Tangwami is a Tested, Trusted Leader to Govern Adamawa-Groups
Adamawa State Social Movement has described the governorship Aspirant of the APC, Chief Felix Tangwami, as a competent, tested and trusted leader who can perfectly steer the affairs of the state.
The leadership of the movement stated this when it paid a solidarity visit on the governorship aspirant in Yola, Adamawa state on Monday, saying Chief Tanqwami, is the aspirant who can fly ticket and win election.
Speaking, the team leader, Rabiu Muhammed Saleh, said no aspirant will compete favourably with him if they are talking about past record and credibility, described him as detribalised, humble, honest and trusted leader.
Rabiu said that all the members of the movement are solidly behind him and will work to ensure his victory, and pleaded with him to remember them after winning election considering that most of the members graduated from various institutions without anything doing.
On his part, Mallam Abdulkadir Abubakar, said that they came as a union to commend him for what he has been doing for his electorate, saying he paid schools fees from primary to tertiary institutions, allocated seats of Special Assistants and pilgrimage to .
He assured that the union is well prepared to work towards his victory at the forthcoming primary and general elections respectively, assuring that his track will continue to speak good for him.
Na'Allah Bolki, described Tangwami as a seasoned politician who is competent and can successfully pilot the affairs of the state, saying that the governorship hopeful has been in the politics for over 30 years and is widely known.
Several other speakers who bared their minds at the event, expressed confidence in the leadership skills of the aspirant, and pledged to continue to mobilise support for him in order to succeed at the primary and general elections respectively.
Responding, the governorship aspirant, Chief Felix Tangwami (Garkuwan Mbula) thanked them for the visit, saying that with their support, victory is assured.
Chief Tangwami informed them that he has been in politics for over 2 decades and knows the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens across communities.
He pledged to continue where Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, will stop in infrastructural development, assuring that if given the mandate, his government will connect communities and towns with road network, provide quality and affordable healthcare to the citizens, ensure security of lives and property, provide employment opportunities, empower youth and women among others.
In his remarks, the Commissioner Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hon. Alloysious Babadoke, said they have support him because he knows the road, competent and that he will be able to continue with where Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will stop.
Likewise, community leaders and elderly women from Tambo/Bakopi District in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State have endorsed the governorship ambition of Chief Felix Tangwami, declaring total support and passing a vote of confidence in his candidacy.
The endorsement was announced during a solidarity visit held at Yobi Conference and Event Center in Yola on Monday. Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Galadima Mbula and retired Assistant Commandant General (ACG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Alexander Barunde, described the visit as a clear demonstration of unity and commitment to Tangwami’s aspiration.
In his response, Chief Felix Tangwami expressed deep appreciation for the show of solidarity, assuring the delegation that their confidence in him would not be misplaced if given the mandate to serve. He reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development.
Tangwami also acknowledged the continued support of members of the State Executive Council, noting that their encouragement has strengthened his resolve to serve the people of Adamawa State diligently.
Similarly, the gubernatorial hopeful met with a forum of former local government council chairmen at Tukur Lodge in Yola as part of his ongoing consultations and engagement with critical stakeholders. He called on them to support his ambition, highlighting his longstanding experience in governance.
