My Govt will Ensure Justice, Accountability, Service- Adamawa APC Guber Aspirant

Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa state, Barr. D.D. Azura, says his government will ensure justice, accountability and service to the citizens.

Barr. Azura, who stated this while addressing delegates drawn from the 21 LGAs, in Yola, Adamawa state, assured that if given the mandate, his government will do justice, be accountable and ensure effective service delivery for the progress of the state.

He disclosed that he had called them as his delegates for them to come so as to officially declare to them his intention to contest for the office of the Governor, saying that their solidarity and sacrifice to his course will be fruitful.

"I did not call you here to make empty noise. I called you here because the work of consolidating and expanding the gains of our party must begin now. That is why we didn't hire crowd.

"My mission is justice, accountability, service. My vision for Adamawa is anchored seven (7) pillars built on Justice, Accountability, Service ( JAS)".he stated.

He said that as former Chairman of the Industrial Arbitration Panel Nigeria, he had resolved complex disputes within 21 days and if he becomes Governor, he will be working together with the judiciary to reform disputes resolution systems so that no farmer, no trader, no widow waits years for justice.

Government must answer to the people. As Executive Chairman of Hong LGC, I enforced transparency and a code of conduct that gave the people confidence. As Governor, we will establish a People's Parliament in each senatorial zone. Every quarter, I, my commissioners, and L.GC chairmen will stand before you to give account. No government by distance.

He thanked the party and its leadership for providing the platform that has brought development to Adamawa and Nigeria.

"I must also pay tribute to His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for the work his administration has done in our state. Adamawa today is not the Adamawa of 8 years ago.

"We have seen a drastic difference in infrastructure, urban renewal, and in the attention given to Yola and other key towns. That is the power of continuity and progressive governance', he added.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the bold reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, saying that the reforms are laying the foundation for a stronger Nigeria, and Adamawa must position itself to benefit fully.

According to him, the next phase of Adamawa's development must focus on power supply, water, and work. Our mothers cannot keep living in darkness. Our children cannot keep trekking for water. Our youths cannot keep roaming without jobs. We will tackle these 3 as the foundation for all other progress including agricultural-technology.

He thanked elders, stakeholders, and party leaders from the 21 LGAs, LG Party Chairmen and Secretary and Ward Executives, Campaign Coordinators and faithful party men and women from across the state.
