Fintiri Directs Immediate Implementation of Civil Servants' Promotions


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, of Adamawa state, has directed the immediate implementation of outstanding promotions of civil servants.


Fintiri, gave the directive while receiving the officials of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), during courtesy visit, assured that all affected civil servants will receive their entitlements before the end of the month.


He further assured that the Accountant General will ensure full payment of all entitlements once promotion records are updated.


He noted that the welfare and career of the civil servants remains central to efforts aimed at strengthening public service delivery and promoting inclusive governance in the state.


Earlier, the NLC Chairman in the state, Comrade Emmanuel Fashe, expressed condolences to the government and families affected by the recent attack in Guyaku community of Gombi Local Government Area, stating that organised labour shares in the grief of the people.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
