Sen. Iya Abbas Secures Employment of 20 at Federal MDAs



The AIA Media Office in Yola Adamawa state has announced that the Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas, had secured permanent and pensionable appointments of 20 constituents at various ministries, departments and agencies of the federal government.


According AIA, the announcement followed the successful unveiling of the first set of beneficiaries last week.


It said that the 2nd batch of qualified graduates and professionals from Adamawa Central who had secured permanent and pensionable appointments at various federal MDAs were facilitated by Senator Iya Abbas.


"This milestone is a testament to the silent, relentless, and result-oriented leadership of Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas (Iyan Adamawa).


"By breaking the barriers of unemployment, the Senator is ensuring that the "less privileged" but highly capable sons and daughters of our district finally have a voice and a seat at the national table.


List of batch 2 of beneficiaries released by the media office include, Saadatu Muhammad Iya – Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Ibrahim Bashiru – Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC) and Wappah William Koji – Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi


​Others include Auwal Abdullahi Bobboi – Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), Pst Husseini Midala Isa – Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, Kamila Mohammed – Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi


Others are Bethany Heriju Bugu – Nigerian Television Authority (NTA Yola), Isa Ahidjo – National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Sini Inuwa Peter – Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) and Mavakumba A. Usman – Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI)


​The list include Bilyaminu Usman Gaji – National Bio-Technology Research & Dev. Agency (NBRDA), Samson Adiel – National Bio-Technology Research & Dev. Agency (NBRDA), Aisha Inna Yakubu – Center for Bio-Technology Research Training (ABU Zaria), Tomas A. Luka – National Bio-Technology Research & Dev. Agency (NBRDA) and Bashir Usman – National Bio-Safety Management Agency (Fed. Min. of Environment).


​Other beneficiaries are Huzaifa Baraya Muazu – Nigerian Television Authority (NTA Yola), Wandiya Samuel – Nigerian Police Service Commission, Jibrilla Hassan – National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Lydia A. Elijah – National Bio-Safety Management Agency (Fed. Min. of Environment) and Abdullahi Ibrahim Buba National Board For Technology Incubation (NBTI). 


​AIA said that the list is the 2nd batch of the over 100 employment opportunities facilitated by Senator Aminu Iya Abbas. 


It said that the office remains committed to transparency and will continue to publish subsequent batches.
