Guber Poll: Groups, Volunteers Mobilise Support for Tangwami
Several support groups as well as volunteers have pledged their total support to APC Governorship Aspirant, Chief Felix Tangwami, promising to strive towards actualising his gubernatorial ambition.
The delegations pledged their support to governorship hopeful when they converged at his residence and other locations in Yola, Adamawa state capital where they to declared their support ahead of the 2027 elections.
The visits, coordinated under the Tangwami Volunteers Movement, formed part of ongoing grassroots mobilisation efforts by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Among the early visitors was the Dougirei Youth Forum, led by Comrade Yusuf Bamanga, alongside community elders.
The group pledged its commitment towards the success of the aspirant, describing themselves as immediate constituents determined to work towards ensuring his victory.
Also present was the Hon. James Iliya House-to-House Support Group from Demsa Local Government Area, led by Newton Voro, who equally pledged their commitment to his governorship bid.
The group expressed loyalty to Tangwami, describing him as a mentor and leader whose candidacy requires no further promotion within their ranks.
In a show of material support, the Chairperson of the Adamawa State Planning Commission, Dr. Mrs. Mary Paninga, presented campaign publicity materials, including branded flex banners, to aid the aspirant’s outreach efforts.
Similarly, a group known as The Brigade for Felix Tangwami, led by David Eston, declared its endorsement and pledged to mobilize support across communities in the state, assuring that it would canvass votes in all corners of Adamawa.
Later in the day, Tangwami met with members of the CAP FIT Movement for Felix Tangwami 2027 at the Conference Hall of the Pastoral Centre in Yola.
The group’s president, Comrade Boniface Waziri, urged supporters to rally behind the aspirant, describing him as a leader worthy of trust.
The meeting featured the symbolic presentation of branded caps to members.
Responding, Tangwami expressed appreciation to all the groups for their show of solidarity and confidence in his leadership.
He assured them that, if elected, his administration would be inclusive and people-oriented, emphasizing that no segment of the state would be left behind.
The series of engagements underscore growing political activity and grassroots alignment ahead of the APC primaries in Adamawa State.
