Guber Poll: Chief Tangwami Picks APC Forms, Vows No Going Back

The political landscape of Adamawa State witnessed a significant development as Felix B. Tangwami formally obtained the governorship interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.


The move effectively confirms his entry into the race, putting an end to speculation over his ambition to contest for the state’s top seat.


Tangwami, widely regarded as a grassroots politician with strong support across the 21 local government areas, drew the attention of party faithful, youth groups, and community leaders who gathered to witness the development.


Supporters described the moment as a major step in the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections, expressing optimism about his chances.


Speaking shortly after picking the forms, Tangwami said his ambition is driven by a desire to serve the people and promote unity across the state.


“This is not about me. This is about Adamawa. We are ready to serve, to unite, and to ensure no one is left behind,” he stated.


With the formal acquisition of the nomination forms, Tangwami’s campaign is expected to gather momentum as political activities intensify ahead of the party primaries.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
