Fintiri Announces Dates for Coronation of Newly Appointed Royal Fathers

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday, met with the appointed rayal fathers of newly created Chiefdoms and Emirates, announcing dates for their coronation. Fintiri met with traditional rulers at the Government House in Yola, which marked the 1st official interaction with the Governor and the royal fathers. During the meeting, the Governor announced the dates for coronation of the new monarchs as follows: Fufore: 5th February 2025,  Yungur: 6th February, 2025, Gombi: 8th February 2025, Maiha: 13th February 2025 ,Hong: 14th February 2025, Madagali: 19th February 2025 and Michika: 20th February 2025. He tasked them to thoroughly study their territories and traditional systems to enhance their understanding and leadership capabilities. ADHA Lawmaker Commends Fintiri on Provision of Security

Impressed by his administration's commitment towards protecting of lives and property, the Member representing Shelleng constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kantomon Bulus Naftali, has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his relentless effort in the provision of security. News Platform  Hon. SEX WORKER STABS BARMAN TO DEATH OVER N200 IN ADAMAWA

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 32 year old sex worker, Riyanatu Musa, for allegedly stabbing barman to death during quarrel. News Platform  The sex worker who is based in Mubi South LGA, killed the barman identified as Yohanna Musa, during quarrel over N200 balance of liquor. The sex worker has since confessed to the heinous crime while being interrogated by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje. She narrated that she had collected dry gin known as "big ben" and 1 other from the victim and promised to pay the following day, saying that she paid the sum of N1,500 remaining the balance of N200. She explained that the fight ensued between her and the victim when he demanded for his money and in the course of it she stabbed him with a knife in the chest to death. Adamawa Chief Judge Assures YEDC of Legal Backing

The Chief Judge of Adamwa State has assured YEDC of the full backing of the law provided all the Company’s engagements are lawful.  This was expressed when the Management Team of Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC), led by the MD/CEO, Engr. Abdulrahman Isa, Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to her office at the at the Adamawa State High Court Complex. During the visit, Engr. Isa highlighted the challenges faced by YEDC in its operations, particularly in distributing electricity across four states under its jurisdiction.  He explained that YEDC receives 3.5% of the total power generated nationally, which must be distributed equitably across the states, while also converting the service into monetary value. “The poverty line is high, and with insecurity and economic hardship people are focused on basic survival first. Led by the Gubo, who served as both Paramount Ruler and High Priest, our Chiefdom had an efficient administrative system that underscored its autonomy and unity.  Supported by the Pagubsa (Council of Kingmakers), the Gubo presided over three major chiefdoms: Ditera, Waltadi, and Suktu. Of these, Gubo Ditera held the most prominence due to the historical role it played in the first settlement from Mokan, also occupying vast lands, and its significant population. Our people have long been recognized for our resilience.  In 1911, G.B. Webster wrote: "They are a fine, hardy race.
