ARMED MILITARY MEN BEAT UP GUYUK LGC STAFF, BREAK HIS LEG

Some armed military men repotedly beat up as well as broke the leg of a staff of Guyuk Local Government Council in Adamawa State. The victim known as Gwalba Enugu, is the staff Guyuk LGC and works under Vetenary Department. The father of 4 was beaten up by the armed military men in Guyuk town by 9:00 pm on Thursday, near Guyuk Primary Health Care Center. According to sources, the incident occurred following a minor misunderstanding between the Commander of the Military in Guyuk and a man at a shopping mall on that fateful night. The commander was said to have stormed the shopping mall with his girlfriend and had a misunderstanding with a different man, and on leaving the mall, he mobilised his men in order to teach the man a lesson. 29, 843, APPLICANTS JOSTLE FOR POLICE JOB IN ADAMAWA

No fewer than 29, 843, applicants are currently undergoing screening for 2023/2024 police recruitment in Adamawa state. The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, disclosed this to News Platform, in Yola, Adamawa state on  Friday. SP Nguroje, explained that 29, 843, applicants have been shortlisted and undergoing screening for the job of police constable in Adamawa State alone. SP Nguroje, explained that about 4,000 applicants have so far been screened, and that the exercise will be completed on the 29th January, 2024.

SECURITY GUARD SHOOTS POLICE INSPECTOR TO DEATH WHILE RESCUING FROM "SHILA" BOYS

A security guard along side a suspected "Shila" boy have been remanded in prison custody in Yola, Adamawa State for allegedly  killing an Inspector of Police identified as Richard Felix. The security guard, Andy Ukoh, as well as the "Shila" boy known as Mordecai Elisha, were remanded at the correctional center by the Chief Magistrate Court I in Yola, Adamawa State for alleged offences. The duo were earlier arraigned before the court presided by Muhammed Buba, over the allegations of criminal conspiracy, unlawful possession of weapon, being in possession of dangerous weapons, armed robbery, voluntary causing of grievous hurt and culpable homicide. Arraigning the accused, the Prosecuting Police Officer, AS Francis Audu, informed the court that the multiple offences contravened sections 60, 399,73,287,and 191 of the penal code law 2018.
