Hardship: Adamawa Police Vow to Resist Violent Protest
The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, Dankombo Morris, has ordered the deployment of personnel to protect lives and property ahead hardship protest scheduled for 7th April, 2025. To this end, the CP has issued a directive to all command and officers within the command, alerting them to a planned nationwide protes. This is contained in a release by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to News Platform. He said that the directive comes in a wake of intelligence reports that some groups, operating under the guise of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), are preparing to mobilise protests across Nigeria to draw attention to what the organisers describe as the prevailing high cost of living and government suppression of free speech.
