Sen Amos Yohanna Empowers Constituents with Modernised Farming Inputs

In preparation for the farming season, the Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Rev. Amos K. Yohanna has empowered his constituents with modernized farming inputs that will enable Climate Smart Agriculture CSA, leveraging his expertise in Agribusiness.  The initial batch of Agricultural support for 2025 includes hybrid seeds, herbicides, and fertilizers. This initiative aims to boost Agricultural productivity, CSA and support farmers with the high cost of farm inputs.  The Senator's effort has been applauded by the beneficiaries Farmers' from various communities, and Religious leaders, who have also offered prayers for his success.

The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his six Years in Office.  Sen. Abbas, who doubles as Chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology congratulated Fintiri on his behalf and his constituents. Sen. Alimat Care Foundation, AGILE-AF Train 43 Learning Facilitators on 2nd Chance Education in Adamawa

Alimat Care Foundation in collaboration with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE-AF) during the week, trained no fewer than 43 learning facilitators on 2nd chance education in Adamawa state. The 5-days event was organised by the organisations primarily to equip leaning facilitators with methodologies/techniques on second chance education opportunities for adolescent girls and young women in Adamawa State. The training which was held at the Nurses House in Yola, Adamawa State Capital, drew 43 learning facilitators from 20 centres across 9 pilot LGAs where 2nd chance education is taught. In his welcome address, the Project Coordinator AGILE AF Adamawa State, Eng. Liman Sidiki, described the event as an important activity aimed at equipping them. Speaker Bathiya, Hon. Alaba, others Observe 40th Day Prayers for Late Godwin Zamfara

The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has joined other dignataries as well as several youths in Hong LGA in observing a Candle Light Procession and Night of Tribute in honour of late Thomas Godwin Zamfara. Also in the procession were member representing Uba Gaya Constituency at ADHA, Hon. Eng. John Alaba, Commissioner Ministry of Education, Dr. Umar Garba Pella, Chairman Hong LGC and several others. The event brought together youths from across the state who reiterated their call for justice for the late Thomas Godwin Zamfara. Late Thomas Godwin Zamfara was gruesomely murdered by some individuals on the 17th April, 2025. Since then, his departure threw not only his immediate family in the state of mourning, but the community, youths, PDP Hong Local Government Area and the entire LGA and Adamawa State in general.  Fourty days after his demise, the memory and legacy of the late Thomas remain fresh in the hearts of the youths, colleagues and associates;...

WHO NEEDS A HUG? By Edgar Amos Sunday

For some personal reasons, I had been reluctant to join issues with Dr. Umar Ardo over his article titled ‘’When praise becomes propaganda: A Refutal of ‘The Fintiri Aura’. However, the shallowness of the article and how a few people seem to be swayed by it, compels me to clarify some things and offer an advise to Dr. Ardo.   I wrote ‘’The Fintiri Aura’’ in which I drew attention to the visionary leadership qualities of Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State and highlighted, among others, his courage and deep faith in God. This is my personal opinion. I and everyone is entitled to choose his or her heroes and heroines. Even the global leadership icons that I listed such as Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jnr, Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and so on, may not be viewed as heroes by others. I know that some would rather list Malcolm X, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and the like as their heroes.  Dr. Ardo too has the right to choose his heroes....
