The gesture, according to ALGON, is to facilitate the activities of the Councillors' Forum which consists of about 222 elected councilors representing various wards across Adamawa State.
Presenting the vehicle to the forum in Yola, the ALGON Chairman who is also the Executive Chairman of Mubi-South, Alhaji Jingi Rufai said that the donation was predicated on the loyalty, trust and cordial relationship between the forum and ALGON.
Jingi Rufai, urged the Councillors' Forum to use the vehicle in projecting the good ideals of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri PDP led administration as well as mobilizing electorate form a formidable front.
The ALGON Chairman who acknowledged the contribution of the Councillors' Forum in good governance, charged them to respect democratic tenets by embracing their people in the rural areas.
Receiving the car on behalf of the Forum, the Zonal Chairman Councilors' Forum of Nigeria, Hon. Mohammed Garba, appreciated the kind gesture demonstrated by ALGON, assuring that the vehicle will no doubt assist in facilitating their activities.
Mohammed Garba pledged more loyalty and support to ALGON and people of Adamawa State as well as Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led administration.
The event which was briefly conducted with excitement was attended by few Local Government Chairmen of Jada and Song LGCs, Hon. Abdulkareem Bakala and Abdulsalam Gidado respectively and some Councillors across the state.
