ADAMAWA TEKAN ECWA BLOC GETS NEW LEADERSHIP


Adamawa State TEKAN ECWA Bloc of the Christian Association of Nigeria has inaugurated its newly elected officials that will pilot the affairs of the body in the next 3 years.

Those elected and inaugurated include; Rev. Gambo Bupwatda as Chairman, while Dean Rev. Gideon Ishaku and Elder James Irmiya are to serve as Vice Chairman and Secretary of the bloc respectively.

Other Exco include; Elder Emmanuel Anyoga, Assistant Secretary, Mrs. Dancha Malgwi, Financial Secretary and Elder Dimas Gumbwaram, as Treasurer. 

Others are; Evangelist Haruna Donge, Public Relation Officer (PRO) I, Evangelist Kefas Nuhu, PRO II, Rev Mathias Ballasa, Auditor.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa state chapter, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, congratulated the new exco and wished them success while steering the affairs of the bloc.

Dr. Dami who is also the Catholic Bishop Yola Diocese pledged to work together with the new leadership of the bloc and all other blocs which comprise Adamawa CAN for the progress of the gospel of Christ.
         
In his remarks, the Bishop Lutheran Chuch of Christ Nigeria (LCCN), Yola Diocese, Rt, Rev. Amos Yakubu called on them to carry everybody along while discharging their activities.

Rt. Rev. Yakubu tasked them on the fear of God in all their dealings, urging them to exhibit characters that are in tandem with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the occasion and erstwhile Secretary CAN Adamawa State, Brother Yusuf Amos Sunday called on the TEKAN ECWA officials to make the best use of their tenure and leave good legacy.

Delivering a sermon, the Guest Speaker, Rev. Yoila Gwanjika of ECWA Goodnews charged them to represent Jesus Christ in all their undertakings.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman TEKAN ECWA bloc, Rev. Gambo Bupwatda thanked the members for giving them the opportunity to serve, pledging to do everything possible towards operating a robust, sincere and transparent leadership.
