FINTIRI SETS UP 7 MAN SPECIAL PANEL TO INVESTIGATE LUNGUDA/WAJA CRISIS

Governor Ahmadu Umaru of Adamawa state has today constituted a 7 Man Special Administrative Panel to investigate the recent clashes between Lunguda and Waja communities in Guyuk Local Government Area.

The Special Panel is to be headed by General Harris Dzarma(rtd), with Archbishop (Dr) Musa Panti Filibus (President Lutheran World Federation), Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, Alhaji Gambo Jika, Imam Bappare Kem and Pastor Emmanuel Kwagherga as members, while the Permanent Secretary Security, Polycarp Ayuba is to serve as Secretary of the panel.

A statement by the Director Media and Communications, Mr Solomon Kumangar and made available to NEWS PLATFORM today, said that the panel is charged with the responsibility of investigating circumstances surrounding crisis between Lunguda and Waja communities in Dumna District and  Guyuk LGA at large.
