Global Soul Harvester's Ministry popularly known as Global Faith Assembly, Yola, Adamawa State has ordained the wife of late Pastor Adams Yohanna, Pastor Mrs. Martha Adams as the new Overseer of the church.
The Church has also ordained Tony Banyawa, James Jacob, Vincent Udeh, Michael Obanya, Barnabas Barminas, Ayuba Basa, Elvis Nkubuin, Emmanuel Madani and Saidu Isa as pastors, while Stephen Tiya and Josiah Joshua are ordained as elders.
The ordination of the new Overseer followed the demise of the founder of the assembly, late Adams Yohanna.
Speaking while consecrating/ordaining the new overseer, the Chairman Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN) Adamawa state chapter, Rev. Dr. Japhet E. Tonmwaso charged her to strive hard for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rev. Dr. Tonmwaso said that the church expects much from her as leader, and charged her to be more dedicated, committed and courageous in the vineyard of the Lord so to leave good legacy.
Responding, the new Overseer, pastor Mrs. Martha Adams said that she had accepted to serve and not to be served, and that she is only a servant, saying that she has no other choice than to succumb to the will of the Almighty God and serve Him.
Pastor. Mrs. Martha told the church that the ministry was born out of a deep conviction by the servant of the Lord and her late husband, and that she will continue from where he stopped to build the body of Christ, and appealed for prayers, advice/suggestions.
She called on the leaders and members of the church to encourage each other, engage in soul winning, prayers, live and care for one another on which the ministry was founded, and thanked them for working hard for the progress of the gospel.
She specifically called on the pastors, deacons/ deaconesses, elders, workers and all the members of the church all over to pray for her so as to enable her succeed.
In a sermon, Rev Papa Jalo said that it is God that gives leadership to whoever He wants at His set time, and urged her to do everything possible so as to deliver.
