Newly constituted Members of the Adamawa State Board on Public Procurement, have been inaugurated with a charge on them to jettison all forms of primordial sentiments and work towards consolidating on the good works of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
Those inaugurated include; Eng.Jingi Mallu, Barr. Husseina Maidawa, Adamu Ali Balami, Gambo Nduhyelya Job, Muktar Abdullahi, Iliyasu Buba Gashinbaki and Danlami Babayo.
Speaking while performing the inauguration ceremony at the conference hall of the BPP over the weekend, the Chairman of the board, Barr Yakubu Ngbale, charged them to work hard so as to lift BPP to the next level of global best practices in the country.
The Chairman called on the board members to shun primordial sentiments and strive assiduously in order to consolidate on Governor Fintiri's achievements, so that the greater Adamawa citizens will reap more dividends of democracy.
As men of honour and integrity, according to him, he has no doubt in his mind that they will give in their very best in order to justify the confidence reposed in them as Board members of the BPP.
He assured the staff of the Bureau that the board will be just, fair, equitable and transparent in all its dealings so that collectively they can achieve the mandate for which the agency was established.
Barr Yakubu Ngbale congratulated them for their inauguration, and appreciated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Fresh Air Governor, for considering them worthy for the appointment.
Responding on behalf of those inaugurated, Engineer Jingi Mallum, thanked the Governor for giving them the opportunity to serve and appreciated the Chairman of the board for inaugurating the, pledging their readiness to work towards moving the board and the BPP to higher heights.
