ADAMAWA SUNSHINE REFUTES ALLEGED HIKE IN TRANSPORT FARES

Adamawa State Transport Board, Operators of Adamawa Sunshine Express has vehemently denied notice being circulated on social media, alleging increase in transport fares by the board.

The Management of the Transport Company urged its esteemed passengers/customers to disregard the notice on social media by one Umar Musa, describing it as untrue and a calculated attempt to tarnish the corporate image of the Company.

A release by the General Manager of the Company, Comrade Mohammed Tukur Abbo and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Tuesday, insisted that the alleged outrageous hike as contained in the notice is not true and out of context at the moment.

The GM said that Adamawa Sunshine, as law abiding agency had shutdown its terminus since 23rd March, 2020 in compliance with the Federal Government's directives banning interstate travel so as to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

He described as unfortunate for somebody out of sheer ignorance to release information without authentic source, saying that the letter headed used by Umar Musa is fake and not from the Company.

Comrade Mohammed Tukur Abbo implored the general public more especially its passengers to disregard the notice and the figures therein.
