Commissioner Ministry of Infrastructure and Community Development, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Prambe has said that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's administration is completing electrification projects in no fewer than 140 communities in the state.
According to him, the electrification projects were initiated and abandoned by the past administrations; hence the decision of this government to complete them, so as to connect the affected communities with power supply.
Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Prambe who made this while commissioning Tsalbu electrification project in Guyuk Local Government Area in the state recently, said that the intention of the government of the day is to put smile on the faces of the people at the grassroots.
He disclosed that their government cannot afford to allow public facilities to waste, and that completing such projects will improve the living standard of the citizens, appealing for support in order to enable their government deliver on its mandate.
In the area of road infrastructure, the Commissioner told the gathering that the government has awarded contract for construction/rehabilitation of 340 kilometer rural roads, saying if the projects are completed will ease the movement of goods and services.
