ADHA ADJOURNS MONDAY SITTING TO MOURN HAMA BACHAMA


Lawmakers at the Adamawa State House of Assembly have adjourned its Monday plenary session in order mourn Late Hama Bachama, Homun Honest Stephen Irmiya.

However, the Lawmakers have announced the resumption of its plenary session to Tuesday in order to honour late Bachama First Class Chief.

Late Hama Bachama died in the early hours of Sunday after a brief illness and since being committed to mother earth at his Lamurde home town according to traditional rites.

In order to honour the deceased, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had on Sunday announced a 3 day state wide mourning in respect of Late Hama Bacham.

A statement by the Clerk to the House, Musa Gaude and made available to NEWS PLATFORM Monday, said that this will enable the legislators mourn the death of the royal father.

According to him, this statement has superseded the earlier announcement by the Image Maker of the Assembly, Mallam Yahaya Daji, which said today's plenary session is to take place by 1:00pm. 

It added that the flags in the house will be flown at half mast beginning from today in memory of the departed Monarch.
