GOV FINTIRI ANNOUNCES 3 DAY STATE MOURNING IN HONOUR OF HAMA BACHAMA

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced a 3 day state wide mourning in respect of Late Hama Bachama, Homun Honest Stephen Irmiya, who died in the wee hours of Sunday.

Fintiri in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Sunday, said that the 3 day mourning period takes effect from Monday 29th June,  2020 across the state.

According to him, the 3 day mourning period is in honour of Late Hama Bachama, the First Class Chief of Bachama Kingdom who died on Sunday after a brief illness.

He further directed that flags be flown at half mast begining from work hours of Monday till Wednesday in memory of the departed Monarch.
