FINTIRI SEEKS CONFIRMATION OF CHAIR/ MEMBERS OF BPP, FRC, PENSION BOARD, OTHER

Adamawa Stare Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has forwarded the names of nominees for appointment as Chairmen and Members of 4 boards and parastatals to the state Assembly for consideration and confirmation.

Those forwarded for confirmation as Chairman and Members of the state Bureau of Public Procurement include; Yakubu Ngale as Chairman, while Eng. Jingi Mallu, Barr. Husseina Maidawa, Adamu Ali Balami, Gambo Nduhyelya Job, Muktar Abdullahi, Iliyasu Buba Gashinbaki and Danlami Babayo are to serve as members.

Likewise, those sent for confirmation to serve as Chairman and Members of Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) are; Baba Mohammad Bakari, Chairman, while Alh. Adamu Chagwa, Barr. Lilian Steven Nabe and Saadatu Saad Abdullahi are to serve as members.

Also, names forwarded for State Pension Board included Thomas Madi(Chairman), Salihu Kabillo, Solomon Obadiah, Mohammed I Attah and Salihu Mohammed to serve as member I, II, III and IV respectively.

In the same vein, Governor Fintiri asked the Honourable House to confirm Piton P. Power as Chairman and Ibrahim Magaji, Sahabo Mahmud, Simon Sina Funguri and Ayuba Teri as members of Local Government Service Commission.

Governor Fintiri in 4 separate letters signed and sent to house, requested the members to consider the letters and approve them in conformity with the laws of the land.

The letters which were read at the resumed plenary session presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, Monday, committed them to relevant house committees with a mandate to report back as soon as possible.
