According to Hon. Kwada the gesture was aimed at assisting the Church, so as to build a house for God, saying he was inspired to extend helping hands considering how the church has been contributing immensely in helping to reshape the society.
Speaking while presenting the cement at the premises of the Church on Sunday, the Lawmaker said that he decided to assist the church with the cement to construct a befitting church to use it in serving the Lord.
Hon. Kwada popularly known as Depolis was represented at the event by the Chairman Concern Citizens Michika, Mr. Daniel Yellow said that it is more blessed to give to God, because no gift given in the name of God is a waste.
The Lawmaker noted that the place of churches in nation building could not be over-emphasized, and promised to continue to do more for other organisations, and appreciated his teeming electorate for the support being accorded to him.
Responding while receiving the cement, the leadership of the church and members of the church commended the legislator, and prayed for God’s blessing and more wisdom to enable him perform effectively his legislative duties.
