SECURITY: ADAMAWA LAWMAKER DONATES VEHICLE TO LOCAL HUNTERS


Member representing Michika constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada has again donated a patrol vehicle to Local Hunters in Michika Local Government Area.

According to the Hon. Kwada, the operational vehicle is aimed at complementing the efforts of the State and Federal Governments' towards fighting insecurity in and around Michika.

It could be recalled that the Honourable Member had last week donated Toyota hilux to Michika Divisional Police headquarters so as to help them curtail security threats in the LGA.

The kind gesture by the two term legislator attracted commendation from sons and daughters of Michika, top government officials and security officers including the Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Olugbenga Adeyanju.

Hon. Kwada has been adjudged to be one of the best legislators in the 7th Assembly in terms of the execution of constituency projects for the benefit of his electorate.

The Lawmaker said that the execution of capital projects is not part of his responsibility, but deemed it necessary to provide logistics support to security to enable them protect lives and property of the citizens.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for doing everything possible towards providing dividends of democracy most especially to the people at the grassroots, and pledged to do more so as to improve the living standard of his people.
