According to the MD/CEO, his biggest dream and commitment is to make the organisation a revenue generating agency so as to complement the effort of the Board of Internal Revenue in generating revenue for state. ADAMAWA CP ORDERS DPOs, HODs, OTHERS TO CURB PROLIFERATION OF FIREARMS

In compliance with the Inspector General's directives towards enforcing law and order in the society, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adeyanju, has ordered officers and men of the command to identify, arrest, disarm and prosecute persons bearing prohibited firearms. CP Adeyanju specifically directed the Divisional Police Officers, HODs and Operational Commanders to clampdown on person(s) or group (s) found to be in possession of the prohibited firearms in and around Adamawa. The Commissioner of Police in a statement signed by the Image Maker of the Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Sunday, said that the order is compliance with the IGPs directives. YOLA COURT EXCITES 23YR OLD MURDER SUSPECT OVER ACQUITTAL

Tears of joy rolled from the eyes of a 23 year old, Kabiru Adamu, of Luru Village in Girei Local Government Area, Adamawa State on Friday, when a Yola High Court presided over by Justice Abdul-Azez Waziri, discharged and acquitted him over alleged offence of murder. The young man had been in prison custody for about 6 years since apprehended in connection with the killing of one Mbo Dauda of the same Luru Village on the 24th October, 2014. Earlier, in his confessional statement, Kabiru narrated that he found himself in trouble when his wife to be told him that one Mummy Janace, had informed her that he (Kabiru) bought clothes and gave another girl whom he newly fell in love with her. The Kwandi Nunguraya, His Royal Highness, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II, has pledged to strive for a sustained peace and harmony among Lunguda and Waja Communities in Guyuk Local Government Area, Adamawa State.  According to Kwandi Nunguraya, Lunguda and Waja coexisted peacefully for time immemorial, and that they will continue to coexist as it used to be, pledging to do everything possible towards ensuring peace between the 2 ethnic groups. The Royal Father who was speaking against the backdrop of recent attacks on communities in Dumna Districts, Guyuk Local Government Area in Adamawa which claimed several lives while houses and other valuables burnt to ashes, condemned the attacks on innocent citizens. Delo, Chairman NYCN Adamawa State Chapter As youth in Adamawa State join rest of the world in celebrating 2020 International Youth Day, the Leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), in the State has tasked governments at all levels to strive towards empowering youth and making them more relevant. The Council however urged on the youth to take advantage of the opportunities and programmes introduced by the governments at all levels so as to benefit from it. The Chairman of NYCN in the State, Ambassador Ajine K.
