ADAMAWA: 600 LG STAFF RETIRE AS ADHA C'TEE CALLS FOR NEW RECRUITMENT
Adamawa State Local Government Service Commission says about 600 staff of Local Government Councils in the state have retired from service in the last 5 years. This is coming as the Adamawa State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Petitions, Public Service and Electoral Matters headed by Hon. Adwawa Donglock(Guyuk) has called for the recruitment of new staff so as to fill in the vacant positions created as a result of the retirement. Hon. Adwawa who made the call during a familiarisation visit on the Commission on Tuesday, urged the Commission to compile the list of vacancies created as a result of the retirement or death and seek approval for the recruitment of new staff to fill in the vacant positions.
