ADAMAWA LAWMAKERS SCREEN 11 OUT OF 23 COMMISSIONER NOMINEES
Adamawa State House of Assembly has successfully screened about 11 out of 23 Commissioner Nominees sent to it by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri about two weeks ago.
The nominees so far screened at the resumed plenary session presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas today, include 6 ex- Lawmakers, 4 Technocrats and the Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and former Commissioner Ministry of Information Hon.
Abdullahi Adamu Prambe.
Those screened include; Doctor Dishi Khobe (Numan), Abdullahi Adamu Prambe (Song), Shuaibu Audu (Mayo Belwa), Ishaya John Dabari (Michika) Professor Isa Abdullahi (Mubi South) Hassan Kaigama (Maiha) and Doctor Umaru Garba (Hong), Sanusi Faruk (Toungo) Aloysiuos Babadoke (Jada) Justina Obadiah Nkom (Lamurde) and Hon.Wulbina Jackson (Guyuk) Local Government Areas.
The remaining 12 commissioner nominees are expected to be screened tomorrow Tuesday before their confirmation.
While some of the nominees most especially former members of the House were asked to take their bow and leave, others were thoroughly screened most especially on what they have in stock to offer to the state towards its advancement.
But the Speaker of the House of Assembly had while presiding over the sitting, charged the nominees to strictly adhere to the resolutions that will be enacted by the hallowed chamber for smooth running of their offices.
