Hon. Atiku Hayatu, Vrati, Da'ape and INEC are challenging the decision of the Tribunal which quashed their petitions against the incumbent Speaker, Iya Abbas, Myandassa, Italiya and for the removal of Hon. Bororo.

On their part, Hon. Bororo and Dan Musa, members representing Mubi South and Mubi North respectively have appealed the judgement of the tribunal which nullified their elections over allegations of certificate forgery as a result of petitions filed by Dirbishi and Sudi respectively.

It could be recalled that Hon. Yakubu Musa Dirbishi(PDP) and Suleiman Yahaya Sudi(PDP) who came second with highest number of votes cast during the election.

NEWS PLATFORM learnt that all the appellants in this election matter have approached the Apex Court to determine whether the judgement delivered by 3 -Man Panel of Judges, led by Justice S. Akanbi, actually reflected the merits of their suits.

An official of the court who confided in NEWS PLATFORM said that the appeals will be determined by three man panel led by Justice Chidi Nwaoma Uwa, tomorrow Friday.

This will put to rest all the legal tussle for several seats at the state house of assembly engaged in by the embattled members and candidates who claimed to be reclaiming the mandates of their electorates.
