Dissatisfied by the decision of the Upper Area Court to grant request for divorce by his wife over his obsession for sex, a middle age man has filed an appeal before Upper Area Court 3, in Yola the Adamawa State capital.
The wife( name withheld) had earlier sought for dissolution of her marriage on grounds that each time she had a sex with her husband (name withheld), she must go for treatment in the hospital instantly.
She told the Nassarawo Area Court in Jimeta that her man is stronger than her while having sex, adding that his obsession for prolonged and constant sex is beyond her power to carry.
Worst still, according to her, he does not take care of her in terms of feeding and other basic requirements for her upkeep as a wife.
To this end, she sought the intervention of the court to dissolve the marriage which was contracted on the 26th February, 2016, which the Nassarawo Area Court later granted.
But the husband, dissatisfied with the decision of the Court and in an effort to sustain his marriage, appealed the judgement to Sharia Court of Appeal, Yola, and the Court in return, referred the matter to Upper Area Court 3 for review.
Both the husband and the wife reside at Hayin Gada in Girei Local Government Area, Adamawa state.
At the resumed sitting of the Court presided by Honourable Umar Isa, yesterday, the Court adjourned hearing into the suit number UAC3Y/CV/Fi/RT/ 248/2019/ until 13th November, 2019.
