Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has directed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to commence the process of conferring Staff of Office on the new Kwandi Nungurya for Lunguda Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda before the end of 2019.
Governor Fintiri, who gave the directives while receiving the new Kwandi Nunguraya, who paid him a courtesy call in government House today, asked the SSG to kick start the necessary processes towards presenting the Staff of Office to the royal father.
He told the new King and his entourage that his government had created a level playing for the selection of Kwandi Nunguraya; hence the emergence of HRH, Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda, as Kwandi Nunguraya, for Lunguda kingdom.
He reiterated the determination of his administration towards improving the living standard of the citizens through provision of democracy dividends, and however congratulated the new King and his subjects.
Speaking earlier, the new Kwandi Nungurya, HRH, Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda, thanked the inhabitants of Lunguda land and the Governor for abiding by the traditions of the land, and the creating level playing ground for the selection of the new Kwandi Nungurya.
He lauded the giant strides so far recorded by the Governor in terms of infrastructure, education and security, which he said has brought positive change in the lives of the masses in the state.
Kwandi Nunguraya, pledged absolute loyalty and support of Lunguda Traditional Council and the entire people to the Fintiri led administration for the benefit of the area and Adamawa state in general.
