KIDNAPPED MUBI DPO REGAINS FREEDOM 8 DAYS AFTER


The abducted Divisional Police Officer(DPO) of Mubi North Divisional Police headquarters in Adamawa state, Ahijo Muhammad has been released 8 days after abduction.

A statement signed by the Spokesman of Police Command in the state DPS, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, and made available to NEWS PLATFORM this evening, said that the DPO has been rescued by the Operation Puff Ader/Operation Farauta.

 DSP Yahaya Nguroje said that the kidnapped DPO is sound and healthy and added that the Command's Anti kidnap Unit is now investigating the matter with a view to Arresting the fled kidnappers.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
